The Connectix Active 4000 outlets offer four active Ethernet ports in a stylish neat single gang outlet.
The IDC uplink version is the ideal solution for upgrading an existing single data outlet to four ports. By removing the old outlet and re-terminating the existing cable into the Active 4000 extra ports can be added without the disruption of running new cables.
The RJ45 uplink version has been designed for quick and easy connection. This switch can either be used as a 5 port stand-alone switch or an extension from another switch (or outlet)
Both products in this range are the same size as a standard faceplate (87mm x 87mm), and will fit over existing back boxes making installation is quick and easy. Additional features include auto negotiation between 10 and 100 Mbps; Auto MDI/MDIX, eliminating the need for crossover cables and blue led activity lights for each port.
