Category 6 FTP Patch Panel Category 6 FTP Panels provide the performance needed for present and next generation data communications networks and applications, including Gigabit Ethernet, with the added benefit of shielding to minimise the risk of EMI. The use of next generation components and specially designed boards allow a bandwidth of 250MHz to be achieved in a shielded package.
Available in 16, 32 and 48 way (and custom made up to 96 way), Category 6 FTP panels consist of industry standard IDC blocks and high performance RJ45 jacks. All sockets are commonly linked through the panel, and can be grounded to the rack using the earth wire provided.
The panels utilise specially designed and individually labelled cable saddles to facilitate installation and enhance cable management. The rear of the panel features hook and loop cable retainers at either end. Category 6 FTP Patch Panels are fully compliant with the EIA/TIA Category 6 standards. When used in conjunction with Category 6 FTP modules and FTP Cable the user will get a link performance exceeding Category 6 requirements.
