Connectix Cabling Systems Category 6 shielded twisted pair cable is designed for use in next generation data communication networks, and will comfortably support all present applications including Gigabit Ethernet. CCS Category 6 solid cable offers the performance characteristics required by the Category 6 standards in a shielded format. The double foil shield simplifies installation. The outer foil is removed with the jacket, leaving the inner foil in place to facilitate grounding. When used in conjunction with CCS Category 6 modules and patch panels the user will get a link performance exceeding Category 6 requirements.
