Converters The media converter was specifically designed to offer the network designer the tools for migration from copper to fibre.

Connectix offer a full range of converters to suit the requirements of migration or expansion of existing networks with minimum cost and complexity.

10/100 to 100FX MM 2km Converter are available in both SC or ST versions, if requirements are more demanding then the Smart 1000T to 1000 SX SC 550m Converter is the ideal solution for Gigabit applications.

If a number of converters are being installed we recommend the use of the 16 slot chassis, which is suitable for use in any 19” frame.
