Smart Gigabit Switch

The WEB Smart Core Engine Gigabit Switch has 16 or 24 auto negotiating ports for 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet. Two further copper ports provide connection for any speed Ethernet including 1000BASE-T Gigabit.

The WEB smart switch replaces the traditional console port with a WEB interface. Individual port settings including operating mode, flow control, QoS queue assignment & VLAN membership can be configured while comprehensive statistical information can be obtained. A simple to use software utility facilitates changing the default IP address and receiving trap messages generated by the switch.

Gigabit ports can be combined as a trunk for faster interswitch connectivity. The 16 port switch is capable of creating 2 trunks and the 24 port 3 trunks each having either 2 or 4 ports. Analysis of network problems is facilitated by a flexible port mirroring facility.
